This copy of tax records was provided courtesy of Mr. Jochen Volke. Transcription by Ms. Eva-Maria Jülich, . The records contain all Meusen farmers liable for tax with their encumbrances and their taxes payable on the tax dates for the year 1580.
There are 10 persons liable for taxes recorded in 10 regestas.
A note in the Text says: "Das Dorff Meussenn Gehört kegenn Seittenhaynn zu Gerichte NB gehört in aller flur mit den obergerichten ins Ambt Rochlitz aber mit den Erbgerichten Kegen der Wechselburgk" (Meusen belongs to the Seitenhain lower court district, but politically incl. high court to the district Rochlitz, while inheritance matters are decided at the court in Wechselburg).
