These extracts were compiled by the genealogist Ernst Költzsch. There is no date given on the document. Publishing was permitted courtesy of his son, Prof. Dr. Költzsch. The transcript is held in the library Ratsschulbibliothek Zwickau, a copy in the archive of the AMF e.V. The original index is held in the Saxon State Archive Dresden, Loc. 4486, Bergwerkssachsen 1507 - 1599.

The list contains the names of the persons who had been living in Geyer. There are 163 inhabitants indexed appearing in 163 regesta. The typewritten transcript is provided as a PDF file.

In his preliminary remarks the Author Ernst Költzsch indicates the following limitations:

‎(There is no date given in the list. Herr Curt Lange, Annaberg, most intimate with the history of Geyer and Ehrenfriedersdorf, is of the opinion that the document is very likely from around 1450)‎
