Shown is the index of court records ‎(purchase accounts)‎ of the district Limbach for the town Niederfrohna ‎‎(today part of Limbach-Oberfrohna)‎‎ of the years 1603-1642.

The original of the digitised source is not accessible. It was digitised from micro films in the Saxon State Archive ‎(Sächsisches Hauptstaatsarchiv Chemnitz, signature 12613, film no. 59, Gerichtsbücher Limbach)‎. The films can also be viewed there. Requests for copies can also be made in writing to the archive, with citation of the required page number‎(s)‎. Further, these microfilms are accessible in the archives Staatsarchiv Chemnitz and Staatsarchiv Dresden as well as in LDS Family history centres ‎(Mormons)‎.

The court records comprise 466 entries on 508 pages. They mainly contain financial transactions, debt lists and relinquishments associated with purchases of land, matters of heritage and guardianships, also quarrels with the landlord of Limbach.

The total of persons listed from these entries is 327.
