The index shows extracts from the enrollment lists of the University of Leipzig concerning students from Geyer for the years 1485-1536. These extracts were compiled by the genealogist Ernst Költzsch in Wilkau-Haßlau, no date given. Publishing was permitted courtesy of his son, Prof. Dr. Költzsch. The transcript is held in the library Ratsschulbibliothek Zwickau, a copy in the archive of the AMF e.V.

The list contains persons from Geyer who enrolled to study at the Leipzig University in the years 1485-1536. Semesters are named. There are 46 students recorded appearing in 46 regesta.
